Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, General Business, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • At least 2 years of sales, business development, or account management experience is preferred.
  • A proven track record of achievement, such as meeting sales quotas and financial growth goals, is required.
  • Experience using customer relationship management software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Experience selling managed services, security, software, artificial intelligence, insurance, and audio-visual solutions is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are required to engage executives, lead meaningful conversations, close the loop, and present professionally.
  • A goal-oriented approach, high sense of urgency, and focus on high-value activities are required.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
  • Lead client conversations to uncover business challenges, priorities, and opportunities.
  • Qualify and prioritize high-value opportunities to maximize time and results.
  • Partner with Solution Architects and technical resources to develop and present solutions that deliver meaningful business outcomes.
  • Manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from discovery and proposal through negotiation and close.
  • Build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders within existing and prospective clients.
  • Navigate objections, solve client challenges, and maintain momentum throughout the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships across Tusker's solutions and services portfolio.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline, forecast, and customer relationship management records.
  • Collaborate with engineering, delivery, and support teams to ensure successful client outcomes.
  • Stay informed about market trends, technology developments, and competitive activity.
  • Achieve or exceed revenue, gross profit, and business development goals.
  • Represent Tusker at client meetings, partner events, networking functions, and industry events.
