Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or Healthcare is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance are required.
  • At least 5 years of direct healthcare sales experience, including home health or hospice, is required.
  • At least 2–4 years of sales management experience in a multi-site or multi-territory environment is required.
  • A proven record of meeting or exceeding admissions and census targets in a healthcare sales role is required.
  • Experience in a metrics-driven sales environment using customer relationship management systems, electronic medical records, and data-tracking tools is required.
  • Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and profit-and-loss review, is required.
  • Intermediate Excel, basic PowerPoint, and customer relationship management platform proficiency are required.
  • Strong coaching, team development, organization, time management, and territory management abilities are required.
  • A safety-sensitive position requires compliance with applicable safety and drug-free workplace requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate sales operations across assigned territories, including pipeline development, referral relationships, and performance outcomes.
  • Build, coach, and mentor regional sales teams to achieve and exceed admissions, census, and revenue growth goals.
  • Lead the design and execution of market-specific sales strategies using data and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare organizations.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of business development staff in effective sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to align sales strategies with patient care goals and operational capacity.
  • Monitor and report team key performance indicators, sales funnel health, market share, and territory performance metrics.
  • Represent the organization at community, industry, and networking events to increase brand visibility and credibility.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in sales and marketing activities.
