About the job
- A high-school degree or equivalent is required.
- Experience working with children is required.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old to meet regulatory, background-check, and Behavior Analyst Certification Board eligibility requirements for behavioral healthcare providers.
- Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Candidates must be able to maintain varied postures, including kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, and standing, for extended periods.
- Candidates must be able to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods.
- Provide in-person behavior intervention services in children’s homes.
- Collect and record data on child behaviors.
- Be available weekly for supervision by a Behavior Analyst.
- Attend team meetings.
- Work one-on-one with patients’ families to help children learn new skills and reach new milestones.
- Implement applied behavior analysis care in collaboration with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Candidates interested in pursuing careers in the field are preferred.
- Active CPR certification is preferred.
- Registered Behavior Technician certification is preferred but not required.
