JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Management & Organization Department within the Smeal College of Business is seeking applicants for a part-time teaching assistant for Instructor Lesser's MGMT 365 course for the Spring 2027 semester.

Job duties to include:

• Attend each class period and track student attendance and participation.
• Assist with grading assignments, including entering scores and feedback into a rubric based on the assignment criteria, as well as providing more substantive topic-focused recommendations on areas for improvement. 
• Perform technical and administrative tasks as needed (e.g., uploading materials to the course Canvas platform, compiling peer feedback into reports, assembling materials for class activities) 
• Additional teaching-related tasks as assigned 

Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:

• Must have taken MGMT 365 in 2025/2026 school year

The starting rate for this job is $15/hour based on experience.
