Clyde & Co strengthens Pacific Northwest insurance offering with arrival of Greg Worden in Seattle. * Press Releases 19 October 2026 Global law firm Clyde & Co announces that insurance litigator Greg Worden has joined the firm as a Partner in Seattle, further strengthening its market-leading insurance practice in the United States. Joining from Lewis Brisbois, Greg brings more than 30 years' experience advising insurers across the full claims lifecycle, with a practice spanning insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, defense litigation and appellate advocacy. He has extensive experience representing carriers in Washington, one of the most complex and closely watched insurance jurisdictions in the US and has argued cases before the Washington Supreme Court. His arrival enhances Clyde & Co's ability to support insurers operating in Washington and across the Pacific Northwest, while adding further depth to the firm's national capabilities in coverage, bad faith, litigation and appeals. Greg advises a broad range of insurers and has longstanding relationships with leading carriers in North America. Dan Worker, Partner and Chair of Clyde & Co's North America insurance practice, said: "Greg's arrival is great news for our clients. Washington continues to be a challenging and fast-evolving jurisdiction for insurers, and Greg brings the local insight, technical excellence and courtroom experience needed to help clients navigate increasingly complex coverage and bad faith issues. His addition further strengthens our ability to deliver seamless support to insurers at every stage of a claim, from early coverage analysis through to trial and appeal." Greg Worden added: "Clyde & Co's reputation as the world's leading insurance law firm, combined with the strength of its US platform, creates a compelling opportunity to help clients address increasingly complex risks and claims challenges. I'm excited to join a team that shares my commitment to practical, strategic advice and exceptional client service." Greg's practice encompasses insurance defense litigation, coverage and bad faith disputes, coverage opinions, examinations under oath, appellate work as well as advisory matters. Throughout his career, he has served as a trusted adviser to insurers confronting high-stakes disputes and regulatory challenges in Washington and beyond. His arrival further expands Clyde & Co's presence in the Pacific Northwest and reflects the firm's continued investment in helping insurance clients navigate a rapidly evolving legal and risk landscape. Insurance moves: Corgi, Clyde & Co, Duck Creek, Bishop Street and Starkweather

Insurance moves: Corgi, Clyde & Co, Duck Creek, Bishop Street and starkweather. They include a new chief sales officer and a new head of trucking underwriting Oct 13, 2026 This week's moves include another senior trucking hire at an AI-focused carrier, a leadership change at two MGAs owned by RedBird Capital, and appointments in insurance technology, coverage litigation and commercial broking. Corgi names head of trucking underwriting. Corgi Insurance has appointed Daniel Oldham (pictured, left) as head of underwriting for trucking. He will oversee risk selection, pricing, portfolio management, product development and broker relationships for Corgi's trucking business. Oldham was previously vice president and head of transportation at Canopius Group, where he grew the transportation book from $10 million to $39 million while keeping it profitable. While there, he also launched a cannabis transportation program and an admitted trucking program. He has also held underwriting roles at NBIS and Great West Casualty Company, and started his career in brokerage. Oldham's arrival follows Corgi's appointment of Stephen Segroves as head of pricing for its trucking program last month. Hiring for both pricing and underwriting in quick succession points to a serious push into commercial auto. For brokers placing fleet business in one of the hardest lines, an experienced underwriter with a background in brokerage could make Corgi a more accessible market. Clyde & Co adds California automotive warranty partner. Law firm Clyde & Co has hired Ani Tolmoyan (pictured, center) as a partner in its California automotive and warranty litigation practice in Los Angeles. She joins from Lewis Brisbois, where she advised automotive manufacturers on California warranty litigation. California's warranty and consumer protection laws generate significant litigation for carmakers, dealers and their insurers, especially as new vehicle technologies raise new liability questions. Duck Creek names chief sales officer. Duck Creek has promoted William Magowan (pictured, right) to chief sales officer, leading its global sales organization. Magowan has been with the core systems provider for more than 13 years and was most recently senior vice president of sales, a role he had expanded from North America to EMEA and APAC. CEO Hardeep Gulati said Duck Creek was entering its 2027 fiscal year from a position of strength, after one of the largest years of new bookings in its history. Carriers' investment in core systems and AI underwriting tools will shape how quickly they can quote, bind and service business through brokers. Bishop Street names new Conifer and AIM leader. Bishop Street Underwriters, a RedBird Capital Partners portfolio company, has promoted Rick Fiato to the new role of chief business officer. He will lead legal, compliance and human resources across Bishop Street and its operating companies. Fiato was chief executive of Conifer Insurance Services (CIS) and president of Aerospace Insurance Managers (AIM). Bill Wilson succeeds him in both roles. Wilson spent more than a decade in leadership at VGM Insurance, where he built an agent and broker network covering all 50 states and expanded specialty programs in healthcare, golf and hospitality. Fiato will stay on the boards of CIS and AIM to support the transition. Agents placing hospitality and specialty programs with Conifer now have a leader with a background in building programs and distribution networks. That suggests growth through agency partnerships is a priority. Starkweather & Shepley adds Naples commercial adviser. Starkweather & Shepley has hired Robert Saucier as a commercial risk advisor in its Naples, Florida office. He has 20 years of experience, focused on construction and contracting, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution. The hire adds construction and contracting expertise in Southwest Florida, a fast-growing market where contractor and builder's risk exposures continue to rise.
