Vonage has created the Business Critical Transformation (BCT) Office to be responsible for driving and monitoring compliance against Vonage’s CFIUS (Committee on Foreign Investments in the United States) requirements following the acquisition of Vonage by Ericsson. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious CFIUS Transformation Program Director to join this growing team.
The CFIUS Transformation Program Director is responsible for overall governance across all CFIUS-related operational and strategic transformation projects. You should have a deep and broad program and project manager knowledge and skill set to help manage multiple transformational projects designed to enable enhanced sustained compliance with the CIFUS regulatory requirement. In this role, you will manage complex, multi-tiered projects that require the interaction of multiple teams across the organization.

What you will Do:
- Coordinate and lead all aspects of project planning and execution across the individual project managers, such as requirements gathering, scope definition, project planning, resource estimation and staffing, risk and change management, close-out, and reporting (including detailed analytics and executive reporting)
- Work with cross-functional Vonage stakeholders to define project plans and scope based on regulatory requirements and obligations.
- Facilitate communication and project feedback, from initial kickoff through milestone reporting and close-out.
- Ensure regulatory requirements and obligations are considered and addressed in all project phases.
- Develop and monitor metrics and report on progress, issues and status.
- Ensure overall project management consistency and adherence to Vonage standards, practices, and policies.
- Lead post-project evaluation sessions.
- Develop the repository of the CFIUS-related documentation (library)
What is Required:
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Extensive working knowledge of portfolio and project management tools and methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
- Ability to function independently and partner strategically and effectively with cross-functional leaders across a modern software/technology company
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and diverse project teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to create clear and comprehensive project documentation.
- Must be fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and clearly to both technical and non-technical staff.
- Candidates must be self-motivated, highly proactive, and willing to work with and learn enterprise technologies and be comfortable working in a matrixed organization
- Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs
- Knowledge or experience with CFIUS is a plus.
- Must work US location Holmdel, NJ or DC preferred, or within Eastern or Central time zones
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in program and project management, with a focus on meeting regulatory obligations for at least 3 years (latest experience) preferred
- PMP Certified Professional is preferred
