About the job
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper is preferred.
- Able to operate cleaning equipment such as an iron, washer and dryer, brooms, mops, and vacuums.
- Able to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance.
- Able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Able to follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment, which may require basic math conversions.
- Able to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Basic knowledge of English and the ability to read and communicate in English.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding company quality standards.
- Collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry.
- Partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and promote Risk Management programs and policies, while adhering to safety rules and regulations.
- Practice safety procedures at all times, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and Lockout Tagout procedures.
- Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper.
