Requirements
  • 5+ years in ROW or land acquisition within infrastructure projects.
  • Degree in Real Estate, Planning, Public Administration, or related field; IRWA certification preferred.
  • Negotiation, property valuation, legal documentation, stakeholder communication.
  • Discretion, organization, interpersonal skill, familiarity with public agency requirements.
  • Business Tools – understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio, and the ability to quickly learn other tools, as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate ROW acquisition for utility and infrastructure projects across public and private properties.
  • Conduct title research, valuation review, and negotiate easements or acquisitions.
  • Prepare documentation for legal, regulatory, and compliance needs.
  • Ancillary Details Of The Roles: Support mapping and GIS updates for newly acquired parcels and easements.
  • Ancillary Details Of The Roles: Participate in public meetings and hearings for ROW acquisition processes.
  • Ancillary Details Of The Roles: Must coordinate with engineers, legal staff, and local agencies throughout acquisition process.
Desired Qualifications
  • IRWA certification preferred.
