Requirements
  • Prior warehouse experience is desired.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of a warehouse data system is desired.
  • Comfort with using scanners and computers.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing 10–30 pounds regularly and objects over 30 pounds occasionally with team support.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and frequently bend, stoop, squat, and kneel.
  • Ability to climb ladders or stairs to access products stored on higher shelves.
  • Ability to perform repetitive packing, sorting, and labeling tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to tolerate fluctuations in facility temperatures.
  • Ability to tolerate occasional high noise volumes from speakers, fans, moving racks, and conveyor belts.
Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for damage, and unload materials from delivery trucks.
  • Track inventory levels, conduct regular counts, and update records to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Fulfill orders by picking and packing items according to customer requirements or organizational standards.
  • Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring items are properly labeled and accessible.
  • Apply barcodes, polybags, stickers, hangers, and other value-added services accurately according to client packing guidelines.
  • Inspect products for defects or damage and report issues to supervisors.
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, complete proper documentation, and load materials onto delivery vehicles.
  • Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Follow safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized and report maintenance issues.
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to safety, security, and quality.
  • Address and resolve issues arising during day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Support the team with additional tasks and adapt to shifting business priorities.

Last year’s event, led by sponsors MTS, Turkish Philanthropy Funds and Bergen Logistics, raised more than $100,000 for Spectrum Works. Bergen Logistics Executive Marjorie Ramos Joins Spectrum Works Board Of Directors

Spectrum Works recently said it appointed Marjorie Ramos, chief people officer at Bergen Logistics, to its board of directors. The Bergen Logistics expansion in the UK is set to create up to 60 jobs and Kevin Rogers, managing director for Elanders in the UK, said it will complement the Elanders offering in North Tyneside, which has a combined headcount of around 200 staff.
