Spectrum Works and MTS Logistics recently announced that they will partner for the 14th annual MTS Bike Tour for Autism Acceptance on June 8. Last year’s event, led by sponsors MTS, Turkish Philanthropy Funds and Bergen Logistics, raised more than $100,000 for Spectrum Works. Spectrum Works recently said it appointed Marjorie Ramos, chief people officer at Bergen Logistics, to its board of directors. Ramos brings extensive experience and passion for promoting inclusivity in the workplace and will help further Spectrum Works’ mission of creating more opportunities for the often-overlooked population of neurodiverse people.Ramos began her collaboration with the Secaucus-based nonprofit in 2021 when Bergen Logistics partnered with it to establish an autism job training program at its North Bergen location. The Bergen Logistics expansion in the UK is set to create up to 60 jobs and Kevin Rogers, managing director for Elanders in the UK, said it will complement the Elanders offering in North Tyneside, which has a combined headcount of around 200 staff.
