About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent.

- Thorough knowledge of specific account standard operating procedures and key performance indicators.
- At least 4 years of freight forwarding experience.
- Respond to customer inquiries by telephone, email, or chat to provide non-technical problem resolution.
- Resolve problems and communicate solutions or requested information to customers.
- Analyze customer service needs and coordinate with service or technical departments to develop and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization and its services to resolve more complex inquiries.
- Use a customer relationship management application or database to record activities and research product information.
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.
- Remain in a stationary or seated position for an extended period.
- Regularly operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
- Use close vision for computer work and hear, understand, and distinguish speech or other sounds.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Self-management and high motivation.
- Integrity, reliability, empathy, and a strong work ethic.
- Results-oriented approach and a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in routing, costing, rating, and tracking.
- A bachelor's degree.
