  • Expert verbal and written communication, with the ability to brief senior military officers, contracting officers, Senate staffers, and Fortune 100 executives while adapting the register without losing substance.
  • Sharp commercial judgment and a high-ownership operating style, including anticipating next steps, surfacing risks early, and advancing the mission.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, ambiguous, early-stage environment with high autonomy.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for all positions, and proof of citizenship will be required before employment if selected.
Responsibilities
  • Identify priority mission areas, customer organizations, program offices, operational units, and acquisition pathways where Gallatin can create measurable mission value.

  • Translate operational pain points into opportunity narratives connecting customer mission needs to Navigator’s decision support, planning, logistics, sustainment, and workflow capabilities.
  • Track emerging requirements, solicitations, Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer opportunities, Other Transaction Authority activity, prototype programs, exercises, experiments, and partner-led pursuits relevant to Gallatin’s growth strategy.

  • Capture customer feedback, mission requirements, workflow gaps, operational constraints, data-access assumptions, integration needs, and procurement dynamics in a format usable by Growth, Product, Engineering, and Capture.
  • Qualify opportunities based on mission fit, customer urgency, budget alignment, competitive position, acquisition feasibility, and probability of transition.
  • Develop call plans, account notes, opportunity briefs, stakeholder maps, competitive assessments, partner strategies, and next-step recommendations.
  • Shape opportunities before solicitation release by clarifying mission need, influencing problem statements where appropriate, identifying evaluation drivers, and aligning Gallatin’s solution narrative to customer priorities.
  • Support proposal development through customer context, win themes, operational use cases, partner inputs, compliance support, and reviewer coordination in partnership with the Capture Lead and proposal team.
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene, including honest stages, real probabilities, current next steps, identified risks, and clean forecast inputs.
  • Serve as the translation layer between external mission stakeholders and internal Product and Engineering teams.
  • Convert customer discovery into concise problem statements, user workflows, use cases, demo requirements, and capability gaps.
  • Support demo tailoring by identifying the operational context, user persona, workflow, data assumptions, and decision outcome that matter to the customer.
  • Ensure external messaging is accurate, credible, and aligned with what Gallatin can demonstrate, deliver, and validate.
  • Identify and develop partner relationships that improve Gallatin’s access, credibility, contract vehicles, technical integration options, or customer reach.
  • Support teaming discussions with prime contractors, system integrators, small businesses, research organizations, and mission partners.
  • Assess partner fit based on customer access, contract position, technical complementarity, reputation, and conflict risk.
  • Represent Gallatin in early customer conversations, conferences, industry days, and partner forums.
Desired Qualifications
  • An active U.S. government security clearance, including Secret, Top Secret, or Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information, is desirable.
  • A U.S. military or government service background in operational, acquisition, J4/G4/N4/A4, or equivalent work is desirable.

  • Experience advancing artificial intelligence, data, autonomy, or logistics and sustainment software into the relevant portfolio is desirable.
  • Existing relationships across primes, systems integrators, defense innovation organizations, and relevant program offices are desirable.
  • Familiarity with Foreign Military Sales and international procurement mechanisms is desirable.

Gallatin AI wins DIU contract to bring AI-driven sustainment planning to US Army Europe and Africa

Gallatin AI has secured a contract from the Defense Innovation Unit to deploy its AI-driven sustainment planning platform for US Army Europe and Africa. The company's Navigator system uses machine learning to forecast demand, identify potential shortfalls, and recommend supply and movement plans in real time. The platform aims to help military planners respond quickly to challenges including adversary fires, infrastructure issues, and changing allied force movements. Navigator will support the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative by managing medical supplies and casualty evacuation planning. Scale AI will join as a partner, providing course of action validation capabilities through its generative AI platform. Founded in 2024 and backed by 8VC, Gallatin AI is headquartered in El Segundo, California, with additional offices in Washington DC and Austin, Texas.

Gallatin AI awarded contract by US Army's III Armored Corps. Jun 11, 2026, 12:28 ET WASHINGTON, June 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Gallatin AI today announced it has been awarded a contract by the US Army's III Armored Corps to deploy and refine Navigator, its AI-native logistics decision support suite, in direct support of III Corps exercises and operational planning over the next 18 months. The award addresses a capability gap at the corps echelon where Army ground combat units lack tools that enable sustainment decision support at the operational level of war. Under the agreement, Gallatin will deliver a tailored Logistics Common Operating Picture (LOGCOP); predictive consumption algorithms across all classes of supply; AI-assisted planning tools for the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP); and integration with Next Generation Constructive (NGC) simulation platforms. The effort maps to two Department of War critical technology areas: Applied Artificial Intelligence and Contested Logistics Technologies. "Planning and executing Sustainment at the operational level is fundamentally different from what happens at the tactical or strategic echelon," said Woody Glier, CEO of Gallatin AI. "A corps commander and staff must forecast what tens of thousands of Soldiers will require over months of sustained conflict while placing those requests against theater sustainment commands and depots that may be a continent away. That requires a decision support capability built for operational timescales and operational complexity." "At the corps level, the hard part is reconciling demand against supply," said Brian Ballard, Chief Product Officer at Gallatin AI. "A staff is pulling a noisy, continuous demand signal from formations that may be dispersed across more than one theater, and it has to turn those disparate pieces of information into supportable courses of action (COAs) for validation with an Corps Sustainment Command (CSC) before anyone commits resources. Navigator surfaces the right data at the right time and lets corps and CSC planners develop and stress-test those COAs together." Navigator is already deployed with multiple military units. Work under the III Corps Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) will be validated through iterative delivery across multiple live exercise events. About Gallatin Founded in 2024 and backed by 8VC and leading defense and technology investors, Gallatin AI develops capabilities that make the Joint Logistics Enterprise predictive, visible, and accountable, from the point of production to the point of need. Headquartered in El Segundo, CA with offices in Washington, DC and Austin, TX, Gallatin's flagship platform, Navigator, is deployed with multiple military units enabling precision sustainment at the speed of relevance.
