Nielsen launches Ad Intel AI, transforming fragmented ad data across 5.5M brands into real-time intelligence

Nielsen has launched Ad Intel AI, an AI-powered platform that transforms fragmented advertising data into real-time media intelligence. The product monitors 5.5 million brands and 4.6 million advertisers across 23 media types in over 90 international markets. Ad Intel AI shifts from traditional reporting to intelligent decision-making, focusing on competitor strategy, spend, creative, and market opportunities. The platform provides unified cross-media intelligence and can integrate directly into clients' workflows through the Model Context Protocol. Nielsen's AI advantage stems from decades of person-verified data on human behaviour. The company uses purpose-built data transformers and panel-based validation to ensure accuracy. A recent Gracenote study found that ungrounded large language models fabricate details for nearly one in five film and TV titles tested. This launch represents the first phase of Nielsen's evolution towards AI-powered decision-making across the advertising ecosystem.
