Requirements
  • 4+ years of HR generalist experience
  • Proven experience with leading onboarding, offboarding and performance review efforts
  • Familiar with HR tools such as Rippling, Workday, Gusto etc
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use independent judgment to make decisions as well as organize and prioritize work
  • Data-driven and comfortable building cost estimate reports
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Responsibilities
  • Own and find ways to improve Smartcar’s onboarding and offboarding experience
  • Support all of Smartcar’s departments globally on HR best practices
  • Lead Smartcar’s bi-annual performance review process by training team members and launching the review packets
  • Assist with compensation planning and benefit enrollment efforts
  • Collaborate with all departments to support and organize team specific and company wide events
  • Lead employee morale and engagement initiatives such as celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, surveys, learning and development initiatives and more
  • Build and create new HR policies and documentation
  • Own and manage sensitive data and information within Smartcar’s HR tech stack such as Rippling, Lattice and Carta
  • Gather and analyze people metrics to drive key insights and decisions around morale, growth and retention
  • Manage inbound employee inquiries about benefits, leaves, policies etc
  • Identify ways to automate and simplify HR processes
  • Be a trusted advisor and partner to all employees
  • Assist with ad hoc HR operations projects
