- At least 1 year of interpretation experience.
- Ability to interpret accurately between Cambodian/Khmer and English in both directions.
- Adherence to the National Council on Interpreting in Health Care Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks, duties, projects, and paperwork promptly and within approved guidelines.
- Ability to quickly learn and implement new and changing technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly regulated environment.
- Willingness and ability to complete additional duties and assignments on an ongoing basis.
- Proficiency with computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, electronic scheduling, and internet use.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- For video remote interpretation, access to a computer or laptop running Windows 10 or higher, a steady wired internet connection, download speeds of at least 20 Mbps, upload speeds of at least 10 Mbps, a webcam, a USB wired headset, and a contrasting solid-color backdrop.
- Provide interpretation services in onsite settings such as medical and education environments.
- Empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their needs.
