Responsibilities
  • Deliver assigned classes using prescribed courses of study, established texts, and instructional materials.
  • Maintain the classroom and laboratory environments in optimal physical condition.
  • Supervise students in laboratory and clinical settings, ensuring adherence to safety and educational standards.
  • Review and manage the procurement of medical supplies necessary for laboratory experiences.
  • Provide hands-on instruction through demonstrations and practical exercises.
  • Evaluate student learning by assessing competencies through return demonstrations.
  • Sign and date student skill checklists to document progress and competency.
  • Manage simulation scenarios and assess student responses for effectiveness and accuracy.
  • Communicate knowledge effectively with enthusiasm and confidence to inspire student engagement.
  • Stay current with healthcare practices and standards relevant to the assigned courses.
  • Perform related duties as required to support program objectives.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Program Director.
