Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in municipal and/or transportation infrastructure projects
  • Ability to design dry utility systems
  • Working knowledge of CAD platforms (Civil 3D & AutoCAD) will be an asset
  • Working knowledge of BIM process, development of design and review process over Autodesk construction cloud (ACC) will be an asset
  • English mandatory
Responsibilities
  • Development of conceptual and detailed design of dry utility systems in accordance with standards
  • Develop designs including alignments, profiles, sections and trench design in coordination
  • Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles
  • Prepare engineering drawings, 2D and 3D designs of utilities and volumetric analysis
  • Contribute to quality assurance/quality control processes
  • Develop 3D design models for conflict analysis and resolution in Civil3D
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with underground infrastructure design (water, sanitary, storm, drainage) will be an asset
  • Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles (already listed in requirements it's listed under responsibilities Actually knowledge is in responsibilities section as 'Knowledge of subsurface utility engineering principles' keep as responsibility' but it is also asset; for desriable we should include items not strictly required: e.g., Experience with underground infrastructure design will be asset (but that duplicates). Lochner appoints Karen Wiemelt to board with 35 years of nuclear and energy leadership

Lochner, an Egis Group company, has appointed Karen Wiemelt to its Board of Directors. Wiemelt brings over 35 years of leadership experience in the nuclear and energy sectors, with expertise in programme management, environmental remediation and strategic planning. Wiemelt previously served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Jacobs, where she led the company's global Energy, Security and Technology business unit. In that role, she managed a portfolio exceeding $1.5 billion in annual revenue and over 8,000 employees worldwide. She has also served on numerous industry and corporate boards.
