  • Be able to lift more than 75 pounds.
  • Hold an ACI Concrete Field-Testing Certification.
  • Be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Be able to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Be able to work at times on uneven terrain, at varying heights, in confined spaces, or supported trenches.
  • Complete a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
  • Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and temperature measurements.
  • Perform field density tests of soils.
  • Prepare daily reports and document field activities electronically.
  • Work with project managers and senior technicians or staff to ensure specifications are followed.
  • Assist with training and mentoring junior staff as needed.
