  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to be on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
  • Ability to travel daily between all Family Express locations or other locations when necessary.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Indiana alcohol manager designation.
  • Completion of training requirements such as ServSafe and Cravin’s To Order.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the overall operations of an assigned store.
  • Manage the daily operation and execution of company strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Build relationships with customers and serve as a product brand advocate.
  • Adhere to company-approved accounting procedures.
  • Operate and maintain approved store equipment.
  • Ensure minimum image standards are met.
  • Assist store managers with recruiting and interviewing qualified applicants.
  • Lead, motivate, inspire, train, and coach employees.
  • Ensure store security and safety for customers and employees and promptly report incidents.
  • Maximize sales and gross profit dollars.
  • Manage profitable merchandise marketing and proper product availability and display.
  • Complete scheduled performance reviews.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to crisis situations at stores.
  • Comply with and enforce corporate policies and the corporate mission.
  • Follow up on financial and reporting issues at stores.
  • Conduct regular and frequent inspections of stores and competitors.
  • Review daily accounting paperwork for accuracy and completeness during store visits.
  • Review store security systems as required.
  • Apply, enforce, and oversee early engagement, counseling, and disciplinary actions for store associates according to company policy.
  • Cover Field Consultant vacation assignments.
  • Attend weekly Operations Meetings with the Field Consultant group.
  • Attend and complete Living Brand University courses.
  • Attend monthly Associate Manager development meetings.
  • Maintain active Cravin’s To Order training and ServSafe certifications.
Desired Qualifications
  • A 2–4 year college degree.
  • Previous retail experience.
  • Store Manager experience, with 90 days noted as a plus.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
