Requirements
- The candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- The candidate must be dependable and punctual and have strong communication skills.
- The candidate must have a flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.
- The candidate must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- The candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Pull, route, secure, test, and terminate low-voltage cabling, including Cat6, fiber, and coaxial cable.
- Install and secure support structures, including cable tray, ladder rack, J-hooks, and pathways.
- Work from 6-foot, 8-foot, and 10-foot ladders and safely operate scissor and boom lifts.
- Read and follow basic construction drawings and project instructions.
- Operate hand and power tools proficiently.
- Maintain job-site safety and comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Follow directions from lead technicians and the foreman.
- Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
- Lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
- Work at heights and on ladders and lifts in commercial construction environments, including unfinished buildings, with exposure to dust, noise, and varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.
Desired Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Bilingual English/Spanish capability.
- Prior low-voltage or construction experience.
