Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Credit card handling experience is preferred.
  • Hotel front desk experience is preferred.
  • Experience with hotel reservations software is preferred.
  • The ability to stand for 8 hours at a time is required.
  • The ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally is required.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in guests in a friendly manner.
  • Assist with taking reservations, pre-registrations, and room blocking.
  • Assist large groups upon arrival.
  • Assist guests in finding nearby dining, shopping, and other local attractions.
  • Handle and resolve guest issues initially.
  • Process payments according to procedure.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services.
  • Perform all check-out tasks.
  • Balance cash, checks, and credit card transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Answer questions and address guest needs and requests.
  • Communicate internally with other departments as necessary to resolve guest concerns or requests.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
