Hygea Healthcare runs Maryland-based addiction treatment and mental health programs with inpatient medical detox, residential rehab, and aftercare planning across CARF-accredited facilities. It combines evidence-based therapies like CBT and medication-assisted treatment with holistic practices such as yoga, meditation, and nutrition management. A key differentiator is its Huml Health (Pretaa) wearable platform that tracks biometrics (sleep, stress, heart rate) and uses AI to flag relapse risk and alert clinicians for proactive intervention. The company funds care through major private insurance and Maryland Medicaid, with financing options, and aims to raise Maryland’s standard of addiction and co-occurring mental health care through coordinated, data-informed treatment and strong aftercare to support long-term recovery.
