Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or an Associate's degree in Computer Studies or Instrumentation and Controls, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple disciplines and internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, clients, and contractors.
  • Eagerness to learn about the architecture, engineering, and construction industry and apply academic knowledge to real-world engineering applications.
Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, and troubleshoot personal computer and programmable logic controller hardware and software, as well as customer networks.
  • Assist with installing and starting up a control system at a customer site.
  • Assist with in-house and in-plant customer operator training for the control system.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines and internal and external team members, including vendors, clients, and contractors.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong interest in the Food & Beverage or Life Sciences industry.
  • Working toward or completion of registration for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
  • Familiarity with engineering software applications, including computer-aided drafting, process modeling, and calculation programs.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
