Requirements
  • Eight or more years of experience in data-driven Business-to-Business Software as a Service marketing, with a demonstrated track record of driving efficient revenue and customer growth.
  • Hands-on expertise in Paid Search, with proven ability to scale and optimize the channel end-to-end (strategy, execution, experimentation, forecasting, and governance).
  • Proven success scaling multi-channel acquisition portfolios using structured experimentation and managing budgets of $5M+ across paid acquisition/performance marketing.
  • Strong cross-functional experience partnering closely with Sales and Product teams to align priorities and deliver pipeline and self-serve growth.
  • Player–coach leadership style, able to operate at both strategic and executional levels while guiding team members and maintaining long-term focus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing funnel issues, prioritizing opportunities, and applying data to decision-making.
  • Clear communicator, able to use structured narrative, insights, and data storytelling to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and delivery-focused, able to manage multiple initiatives, dependencies, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the multi-channel acquisition strategy across paid and organic channels, with full end-to-end ownership of the paid search function, to deliver pipeline and self-serve growth targets.
  • Mentor and develop a team of paid and organic marketers and oversee external agency partners.
  • Own acquisition budget, forecasting, and channel performance governance to meet CAC payback and growth business targets.
  • Design an experimentation roadmap across creative, landing pages, targeting, and channel mix, increasing velocity and learning cycles.
  • Diagnose funnel performance, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven investment decisions across channels, audiences, and regions.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, CRO, Creative, and Data teams to align priorities, support launches, and drive integrated performance programs.
  • Communicate acquisition insights, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making.

Mews raises $300M at $2.5B valuation to build AI agents for autonomous hotel operations

Mews, an Amsterdam-based hotel technology company, has raised $300 million to develop AI agents capable of autonomously managing hotel operations. The round values the company at $2.5 billion, roughly double its $1.2 billion valuation from March 2024. The funding will support development of agentic AI software that coordinates pricing, staffing and guest services across hotel systems without manual intervention. The approach requires hotels to transition from legacy systems that cannot support such automation levels. Mews' vision depends on hotels shifting operational decision-making to algorithms, though the company has yet to demonstrate this capability at scale. The technology aims to create an operating system that fundamentally changes hotel management processes.
