Requirements
  • Experience servicing HVAC products and equipment for service work and site maintenance.
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested.
  • Ability to examine building layouts, anticipate difficulties, gather materials, and coordinate on-site work for installations and repairs.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain service vehicles, including keeping service records and scheduling repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to determine parts needed for repairs and the required timing.
  • Ability to complete job paperwork and maintain files, including recording time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Availability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications.
  • Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
  • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness and maintain vehicle service records, scheduling, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment for wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Complete job paperwork and maintain files for each assignment.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact and provide technical support to customers.
  • Determine repair parts and order them according to need and timing.
  • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Submit required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
