- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or in a similar role in the plastics industry is required.
- A strong understanding of the extrusion process and related machinery is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products are required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards is required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed is required.
- The schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday. Training is on Shift A from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for eight weeks, then the employee transitions to Shift B from 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
- Set up and operate extruder machines to produce plastic products according to specifications.
- Monitor the extrusion process and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and materials to detect issues.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production records and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production targets.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies throughout the production process.
- Technical training in plastics manufacturing is preferred.
