Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent education in Chemical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university.
Ability to work within diverse teams assembled from Nexus, clients, and others.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Responsibilities
Complete calculations of limited complexity, with supervision as needed, including control valve and flow meter sizing.
Develop and maintain block and loop drawings.
Provide support with instrument specifications.
Assist experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineers with their activities as requested.
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with AutoCAD or other drafting software.
The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer Intern or Co-op will work alongside other Instrumentation & Controls Engineers to prepare drawings, instrument specifications, calculations, and other deliverables for our clients’ design projects. The position will also interface with team members in our other engineering disciplines to provide cohesive engineering packages to our clients.
