About the company

Shrimp Basket runs casual seafood restaurants for families and travelers, with a menu centered on Gulf Coast cooking. Its hand-breaded seafood baskets come with Southern sides, while grilled and steamed dishes sit alongside po'boys, burgers and chicken for guests who want other options. Restaurants sell meals and drinks for dine-in service, with takeout and delivery orders placed through the chain's website or app. Local restaurants also handle catering orders for gatherings, and the menu includes starters, desserts and cocktails that customers buy alongside their main meals. Shrimp Basket opened its first restaurant in Gulf Shores, Alabama, in 1993.
