GoDaddy, Google and Cloudflare unveil AI agent trust system.

GoDaddy, Google and Cloudflare unveil AI agent trust system. techcoffeehouse GoDaddy, Infoblox, Google and Cloudflare have unveiled a system for verifying the identity of AI agents as they move through a transaction, developed in partnership with Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). Called the Chain of Trust, the open reference architecture was demonstrated at GovWare 2026 during Singapore International Cyber Week, and is built on principles from IMDA's Model AI Governance Framework for Agentic AI (v1.5). It lets organisations discover, identify and authenticate AI agents at every step of a transaction, even when the agents involved have never interacted before and run on different platforms. Agent-led commerce is growing fast. AI agents are already being used to search for products, compare prices and make purchases on behalf of people and businesses. McKinsey & Co estimates AI agents could facilitate between US$3 trillion and US$5 trillion in global consumer purchases by 2030. The problem, according to the companies behind the project, is that most platforms today verify agents through closed systems, leaving businesses with little visibility into how an agent's identity was checked or whether it can be trusted. The Chain of Trust addresses this by building on existing, open internet standards, including DNS, OAuth and the Model Context Protocol, so trust can be verified independently across clouds and platforms rather than inside a single vendor's walled garden. Live demo simulated a flight purchase between strangers. At GovWare, the four companies demonstrated a complete agentic purchase of a flight from Madrid to Singapore between agents that had never interacted before and ran on different platforms. The buyer agent ran on Amazon Web Services, the seller agent on Cloudflare Workers, and the mandate authority and verifier agent on Google. A person approved the purchase with a passkey, which triggered a signed Agent Payments Protocol (AP2) mandate setting what the buyer agent could purchase, from whom and up to what amount. The buyer agent found the seller through DNS-based discovery, checked its identity against a public log, and verified its trust score before completing the purchase. The demo also included attempts by a look-alike seller using forged credentials, which the system stopped before any transaction occurred. "Realising the potential of agentic AI will require trusted and interoperable foundations that can support responsible deployment at scale," said Lee Wan Sie, cluster director for AI governance and safety at IMDA. "Robust agent identity will be a key part of that." "We don't need to rebuild the internet for AI agents. By extending the open standards that have connected the internet for decades, we can give agents a verifiable identity that works across platforms," said Jared Sine, chief strategy and legal officer at GoDaddy. Wei Chen, executive vice president of regulatory strategy at Infoblox, said the project extends DNS and other established internet standards to agent discovery and identity verification, "helping create a system where businesses can independently verify who they're dealing with, without relying on a single platform to decide who can be trusted." Rao Surapaneni, vice president for Gemini Enterprise and Agent Governance Platform at Google Cloud AI, and Stephanie Cohen, chief strategy officer at Cloudflare, also took part in the demonstration. The companies have published a technical case study and invited domain registrars, identity providers, payment networks and cloud and AI platforms to adopt and extend the architecture. FusionLayer granted new patent for Secure Service Routing.

FusionLayer granted new patent for Secure Service Routing. FusionLayer Group has been granted Finnish patent FI 132201 B1 for a method for securely routing service traffic on shared platforms. Initially used in connection with FusionLayer Xverse, the invention addresses a fundamental requirement of modern cloud infrastructure: routing traffic accurately and securely between public-facing gateways and dedicated services. "FusionLayer's Secure Service Routing patent strengthens the foundation for dedicated cloud environments - enabling accurate routing and reliable separation for organizations, devices and AI agents on shared platforms." Although the patent relates to cloud networking and service delivery, its broader significance lies in security. As cloud computing evolves beyond multitenant Software-as-a-Service systems toward open API fabrics used by agentic AI, security will increasingly require dedicated services accessible only to authorized organizations, devices, or AI agents. This transition requires reliable separation between tenant services and precise routing from the public internet, through shared gateways, to the correct dedicated service environment. FusionLayer's patented method provides an important building block for securing these dynamic architectures without compromising scalability. Sep 22, 2026 Prev Next 1 of 43,186 "Although this is approximately the 45th patent granted for one of my inventions, each new grant still feels special," said Juha Holkkola, CEO and Chief Technologist of FusionLayer Group. "This invention reflects a broader shift in cloud computing. We believe the future will increasingly consist of dedicated environments for organizations, connected devices, and AI agents, delivered efficiently on shared platforms. Security depends on reliable boundaries between those environments." FusionLayer Group's patent journey began in 2006. Patent families stemming from its earlier R&D are now being asserted in pending infringement proceedings against Infoblox and Amazon Web Services: the company's DNS security innovation in the former and its cloud-networking innovations in the latter. FI 132201 B1 is the first grant from a broader patent program expected to cover approximately six distinct patent families. Together, these inventions reinforce FusionLayer Group's long-term commitment to secure networking, cloud infrastructure, and digital separation technologies. "After 20 years of building and protecting new ideas, this work remains exciting," Holkkola added. "This patent is both a meaningful milestone and a building block for our next phase: laying the groundwork for intelligent networking in the 2030s."

What it means now that Infoblox vNIOS is supported on AWS China.

What it means now that Infoblox vNIOS is supported on AWS China. September 10, 2026 Infoblox Becomes the First to Bring Enterprise-Grade DDI to a Major Public Cloud in China Infoblox has officially added support for deploying vNIOS in AWS China Regions, making Infoblox the first to bring enterprise-grade DDI to a major public cloud in China. For many global and China-based organizations, this is more than just another supported platform to tick off a list - it's a key step toward a truly consistent, enterprise-grade network foundation across all your environments, including one of the most complex and strategic markets in the world. In this blog, Infoblox'll look at what this support actually means in practice, why it matters and how it helps you design a cleaner, more manageable network architecture spanning China and the rest of the world. From "almost complete" to truly global cloud map. Many enterprises have already standardized on Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP and IP address management) as the control plane for their data centers, branch sites and global public cloud deployments, such as AWS, or private clouds, like VMware. Until now, AWS China was often an exception, which meant having to juggle: * Different operators (Sinnet in Beijing, NWCD in Ningxia) * Separate accounts and portals for assets in China versus AWS Global * Additional regulatory and connectivity considerations For DDI services and management, this usually translated into a completely separate approach for China. The result was fragmented tools and policies, more manual workarounds and wide variability in control and automation in AWS China compared to the rest of the AWS footprint. With vNIOS now supported on AWS China, you can extend the same Infoblox architecture you trust in global AWS regions into China. Your global network map is now conceptually complete - one consistent DDI platform, covering: * On-premises data centers * Global AWS regions * Other public and private clouds * AWS China Regions "As customers build hybrid architectures across AWS regions and data centers, the ability to run Infoblox vNIOS on AWS China helps them keep DNS and IP address management consistent while meeting local requirements." said Ben Li, head of Technology Partner, Amazon Web Services. Consistent DDI Policies across China and the Rest of the World. The strategic value of Infoblox on AWS China starts with policy consistency. When you deploy vNIOS on AWS China, you can: * Apply the same DNS naming standards, DHCP configurations and IP address management (IPAM) policies you use globally in similar infrastructure * Avoid maintaining separate "China-only" DDI playbooks, which are hard to document and harder to keep in sync * Enforce consistent governance and approval workflows for IP allocations and changes, regardless of where workloads run This consistency matters for: * Regulated industries, where auditability and control are critical * Global application teams, who want predictable DNS behavior whether workloads land in Frankfurt, Beijing or Shanghai * Operations teams, who are tired of firefighting issues caused by regional differences in basic network services Instead of treating AWS China as a special case, you can now treat it as a first-class citizen in your DDI design. Unified visibility in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Visibility is another major benefit. Organizations that run workloads across on-premises data centers, multiple AWS regions, other public clouds and now AWS China often struggle to answer simple questions: * "Which IP blocks are used where?" * "Which DNS zones are authoritative in China versus outside China?" * "How do I quickly see the impact of a change across the entire estate?" With Infoblox vNIOS deployed consistently, including on AWS China, you gain: * End-to-end IPAM visibility across regions and environments * A single source of truth for DNS zones, records and DHCP scopes * Central or delegated control, depending on how you design your operating model This unified view helps: * Cloud architects design landing zones that avoid overlaps and conflicts * Network and security teams trace issues faster, even when incidents span multiple regions * Governance and compliance teams validate that policies are consistently implemented in China and beyond Simplifying network operations for global architectures. AWS China deployments are often part of larger architectures that span: * China workloads serving local users * Global workloads serving users elsewhere * Shared services (such as identity, security or global applications) hosted in other regions Without a consistent DDI platform, network operations teams face: * Multiple DNS and DHCP implementations * Manual coordination when adding or changing services * Increased risk of misconfigurations that are hard to trace By standardizing on Infoblox vNIOS in AWS China Regions, you can: * Reuse global templates and blueprints for new accounts, VPCs and services * Streamline change management, using the same workflows globally * Reduce the training burden on operations teams - they learn one DDI platform, not many This simplification translates into lower operational risk, fewer outages caused by inconsistent configurations and faster time to market when new projects need to go live in China. Enabling secure, compliant growth in China. For many global organizations, China represents both a major growth opportunity and a complex regulatory environment. While each company's legal and compliance requirements are unique, the presence of Infoblox vNIOS on AWS China can help support: * Clear separation of China workloads where required, without sacrificing operational consistency * Centralized visibility into DNS and IP address usage to support audit and reporting * Integration with broader security architectures, such as DNS-based security controls or data exfiltration detection (where applicable to your design) In other words, you can grow your China footprint while maintaining a familiar, well-understood network services stack. "Infoblox vNIOS on AWS China lets us offer customers a single, enterprise-grade DDI platform across their data centers and AWS China environments," said Tong Liu, general manager, Security and Solutions Business, Digital China. "That's true whether they're already using Infoblox on-premises or are looking for a strong DNS, DHCP and IPAM foundation as they build new workloads in AWS China." Conclusion. The official support of Infoblox vNIOS on AWS China regions is a significant milestone for customers who want a single, enterprise-grade DDI platform across all their environments. It allows you to: * Complete your global cloud map with AWS China included * Enforce consistent network policies across regions * Gain unified visibility and simplify operations * Support secure, compliant growth of your China footprint If you'd like to explore what this could look like in your own environment - from architecture options to migration approaches - reach out to your Infoblox representative or contact Infoblox through your local partner. Infoblox'd be glad to walk through scenarios that match your specific requirements in China and globally. David Qiu. Senior manager, sales engineering SE China. David Qiu, graduated from Computer Science department of Peking University and majored in Semi-Conductor. He used to be one of the ASIC designers and patent authors of the world's first Gigabit Firewall Chip. In 2010, he joined Infoblox as the second employee in Greater China and became the evangelist for DDI. In 2015, he joined a start-up as CTO leading the transformation to big data and cloud technology. After the company went public, he returned to work in Infoblox as tech leader to bring Infoblox to a new height.

Netpoleon Bharat CXO Drive: Chennai - revisiting chapter 9 of India's AI, intelligence & security journey | 9/12 city tour. As the Bharat CXO Drive moves closer to its final chapters, Chennai marked another important stop on the journey, bringing together cybersecurity leaders, technology decision-makers and enterprise professionals for conversations shaped by the realities of today's evolving digital landscape. CXO Junction, in association with Netpoleon Bharat and its esteemed partners, Exabeam, Infoblox and BMC Helix brought the ninth chapter of the Bharat CXO Drive to Chennai. The evening brought together leaders and practitioners from across the technology and cybersecurity ecosystem to exchange perspectives, explore emerging challenges and discuss the role of intelligence, visibility and collaboration in building stronger enterprise environments. Nine cities into the journey, one thing is becoming increasingly clear: while every market brings a different perspective, many of the challenges facing technology leaders today are shared. How do organizations stay ahead as digital environments continue to expand? How can teams gain better visibility across increasingly complex infrastructure? And as AI becomes a more important part of the enterprise conversation, how can organizations turn new capabilities into practical outcomes? Chennai brought its own perspective to these questions. The conversation was shaped not just by technology, but by the people responsible for making technology work in real-world enterprise environments. The conversation. The Chennai chapter brought together voices from across cybersecurity, IT operations and enterprise technology, creating a conversation that moved between strategy, technology and practical experience. The session featured Avinash Gadam from BMC Helix, Joseph George from Infoblox, and Chaitanya Rathore, Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer at Infoblox. Joining the conversation was Ramya S, Channel Account Manager - Chennai, Netpoleon Bharat, while Sejal Shibe, AVP - Cyberfrat, moderated the discussion. Together, the speakers explored the changing demands being placed on enterprise technology and security teams. As organizations become more connected, environments are also becoming more complex. More applications, more devices, more data and more security signals are creating new operational challenges for teams that are already expected to respond faster and make better decisions. The discussion explored how greater visibility, intelligent automation and the right security technologies can help organizations reduce complexity and focus their attention where it matters most. A key theme throughout the conversation was that technology alone cannot solve every challenge. The real value lies in how organizations connect intelligence with action. From understanding activity across the network to identifying potential risks earlier and improving operational response, the conversation looked at how teams can move from simply managing information to making more informed decisions. Different experiences. Different challenges. Shared perspectives that keep the conversation moving forward. The Bharat CXO Drive continues to grow through conversations, connections and the people who bring their own perspectives to the table. The Offensive vs Defensive Challenge. The Chennai chapter also continued the Offensive vs Defensive Challenge, bringing another competitive dimension to the Bharat CXO Drive journey. Participants stepped into scenarios designed to test strategic thinking, decision-making and the ability to respond under pressure. How do you think like an attacker? And how do you build the awareness, visibility and response needed to stay ahead? As the Chennai round came to a close, two more finalists emerged to represent the city at the Final Showdown. The Chennai finalists will now meet again at the Final Showdown, alongside the finalists from Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and the cities still to come. As CXO Junction revisit each city, CXO Junction will take you back to the conversations, people and moments that shaped the Bharat CXO Drive along the way. Next in the throwback series: Kochi. With nine chapters now complete, the journey continues to bring together new voices, experiences and perspectives from India's cybersecurity and technology community.
