Requirements
  • Must maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance (All Security Admin 1s)
  • Be cross trained in all domains of Industrial Security
  • ISSO Track requires COMPTIA Security+ or equivalent IT certification
  • Ability to interpret and troubleshoot requests of volatile complexity in cybersecurity and compliance contexts
  • Experience with implementing and enforcing cybersecurity compliance directives derived from government documents/regulations (such as NISPOM, DFARS, DAAPM, JSIG)
  • Familiarity with a wide variety of cybersecurity technologies and tools
  • Understanding of Information Technology skill sets relevant to security roles
  • Possess or obtain necessary personnel security and program security knowledge relevant to the aCPSO and Industrial Security Generalist tracks
Responsibilities
  • Support classified computing environments in the ISSO track; implement and enforce cybersecurity compliance directives; create, sustain, and enforce standard operating procedures developed from government compliance documents/regulations (NISPOM, DFARS, DAAPM, JSIG, etc.); troubleshoot requests and tasks of volatile complexity; utilize a wide variety of cybersecurity technologies and tools
  • Maintain personnel security records for SAP/SAR/SCI programs including use of SIMS, JPAS, and Scattered Castles; perform initial access eligibility determinations and create Personnel Authorization Requests (PARs) and SCI nominations; process incoming and outgoing classified visit certifications
  • Conduct internal self-inspections and assist with Staff Assistance Visits and Customer Security Assessments; maintain classified material accountability records including inventory lists, receipt and transmittal records, and final disposition documentation; ensure all classified materials are marked and controlled in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Review operational requirements and system specification documents to ensure applicable security requirements are addressed and incorporated into security processes; interpret and implement security classification guidance; assist in the development of Program Protection Plans (PPP); assist with the development and maintain the program's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • Attend, support and participate in program meetings, staff meetings, and teleconferences
  • Assist in developing Initial and Refresher training; manage Insider Threat reporting requirements; conduct Self-Inspections across all cleared Kostas locations; submit visit requests and foreign travel in DISS; take fingerprints for initial and upgraded personnel clearances; manage Kostas Building access control and visitor list
