Requirements
  • Seven or more years of executive search experience in an agency or external search firm environment.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting lateral law firm partners and practice groups, General Counsel and senior in-house legal leadership, CHROs, CPOs, senior HR executives, and C-level leaders across enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience managing external client accounts and growing a book of business.
  • Strong understanding of law firm economics and partner portability, lateral hiring dynamics, corporate legal department structures, and HR leadership capabilities and enterprise people strategy.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding placement and revenue goals.
  • Ability to operate independently in a remote, performance-driven environment.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A high level of discretion and integrity when handling confidential searches.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.
Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle retained and engaged executive searches for lateral law firm partners and practice groups, General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel roles, CHROs, CPOs, other senior HR executives, and C-level and enterprise leadership roles.
  • Conduct market mapping, competitive intelligence, and talent landscape analysis.
  • Develop search strategies aligned with client business objectives.
  • Provide consultative guidance on compensation, law firm economics, partner portability, and executive assessment.
  • Manage highly confidential and sensitive searches with discretion and professionalism.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to law firm leaders, corporate executives, and boards.
  • Manage and grow external client accounts through long-term consultative relationships.
  • Partner with clients on succession planning, leadership design, and strategic talent acquisition.
  • Provide executive-level communication, search updates, and market insights.
  • Build, grow, and maintain a personal book of business.
  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities within legal and HR executive markets.
  • Leverage professional networks and industry relationships to generate revenue.
  • Partner with livingHR leadership on go-to-market strategies and practice expansion.
  • Meet and exceed individual revenue and placement goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with legal and HR leaders.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Serve as a career advisor to executives navigating confidential transitions.
  • Maintain accurate customer relationship management documentation, search tracking, and revenue reporting.
