Responsibilities
  • Originate first mortgage loans and promote the financial institution and its lending services to the real estate community.
  • Solicit first mortgage loans by visiting clients and inform prospective loan clients about underwriting guidelines and applicable government regulations.
  • Assist loan applicants with completing applications and necessary disclosures.
  • Complete loan applications and pre-processing functions in a timely manner, including preparing initial disclosures and loan estimates for review.
  • Enter data from new loan applications and other documents into the computer system.
  • Order credit reports and other required items.
  • Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments.
  • Follow up consistently with borrowers and agents to complete processing.
  • Communicate complex approvals or denials to borrowers and agents, including real estate agents and builders.
  • Respond to borrower inquiries regarding the status of loans in process.
  • Complete required information, including log entries and business sourcing.
  • Distribute bank-approved marketing materials and general information.
  • Participate in local business development activities as directed by the Bank.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all other regulatory, security, and bank policies.
  • Provide home loan counseling, conduct real estate agent seminars and sales meetings, and participate in community activities.

Kearny Financial reports $36.3M net income for fiscal 2026, declares $0.11 dividend

Kearny Financial Corp. reported fourth quarter net income of $7.2 million, or $0.11 per diluted share, down from $10.1 million, or $0.16 per share, in the previous quarter. The results were affected by non-recurring items including a $1.6 million tax charge, $745,000 in severance costs, and $262,000 in property acquisition expenses. For fiscal year 2026, the company posted net income of $36.3 million, or $0.57 per diluted share, representing a 39% increase from $26.1 million, or $0.42 per share, in fiscal 2025. Net interest margin expanded 30 basis points to 2.18%. The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.11 per share, payable on 26 August 2026. Total assets stood at $7.68 billion at year-end, whilst loans receivable reached $5.88 billion.

Kearny Financial reports $10.1M Q3 profit as net interest margin expands for sixth straight quarter

Kearny Financial Corp reported net income of $10.1 million, or $0.16 per diluted share, for the quarter ended 31 March 2026, compared to $9.4 million, or $0.15 per diluted share, for the previous quarter. The company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.11 per share, payable on 20 May 2026. Net interest margin expanded seven basis points to 2.21%, marking the sixth consecutive quarter of margin improvement. Pre-tax, pre-provision net revenue increased 5.5% to $13 million. Total assets were $7.61 billion, whilst loans receivable totalled $5.78 billion, up 0.4% from December. The company is investing in its corporate banking team and has partnered with The Lab Consulting to improve operational efficiency. Tangible book value per share increased to $10.02.
