- A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for physical and virtualized server operating-system environments and technologies, including Linux, Windows, and Dell, for Teradata Cloud Operations.
- Install and configure server hardware and operating-system software, including firmware and driver updates for all hardware components.
- Prepare monthly capacity and utilization reports, vendor performance assessments based on service-level agreements, resource-utilization reports, and other required documentation.
- Create, update, and maintain server-related documentation and hardware-infrastructure diagrams, including operational runbooks.
- Manage small- to medium-sized projects or portions of large projects.
- Assist in resolving issues and planning for new applications and services.
- Provide Level 2 support, including participation in an off-hours on-call rotation.
- Manage, maintain, and monitor current servers for efficiency, data recoverability, and performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain and support a 2003/2008 Active Directory infrastructure.
- Administrator-level operating-system experience with Microsoft Windows.
- At least 5 years of experience with Windows systems in virtual and physical environments.
- Experience with multiple hypervisors, including VMware, Hyper-V, and KVM.
- Administration of IIS, Apache, or similar web-server environments.
