Requirements
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, with Big Four public accounting experience preferred.
  • Project management skills, attention to detail, and the proven ability to multitask.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • The ability to manage associates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • Experience with Investran and MRI is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Perform accounting and finance fiduciary responsibilities for the firm's private real estate investments.
  • Review and maintain partnership waterfalls for joint venture and fund-level entities.
  • Maintain the general ledger and applicable sub-ledgers.
  • Prepare and review trial balances.
  • Perform the quarterly close process.
  • Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables.
  • Manage workflow for capital calls and distributions.
  • Work closely with investment teams.
  • Produce client reports on monthly and quarterly cycles.
  • Produce account-level financial performance metrics.
  • Interact with senior management, the portfolio management team, and investment analysts.
  • Communicate proactively and coordinate with various internal groups.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Provide oversight of multiple portfolios, client reporting, and support to internal and external clients.
  • Support the Real Estate Equity group under the private investment platform.
Desired Qualifications

Barings hires Ankit Aggarwal to lead global CLO issuance for $55B platform

Barings has appointed Ankit Aggarwal as Head of Global CLO Issuance and Capital Markets, a newly created role. Based in New York, Aggarwal will lead the firm's global CLO issuance platform and capital markets strategy for its $55 billion CLO platform spanning broadly syndicated loans, private credit, and infrastructure debt. Aggarwal joins from Bank of America, where he led the US CLO banking and structuring team and CLO equity distribution. He has nearly two decades of experience in structured credit and capital markets. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President at Deutsche Bank, focusing on CLO origination and structuring. Barings is a $502 billion global alternative asset manager.

Barings names Brian Maute as head of US wealth distribution

Barings has appointed Brian Maute as Head of U.S. Wealth in a newly created role. Maute will lead the firm's US wealth distribution strategy across intermediary channels, including registered investment advisors, broker dealers, private banks and family offices. He will report to Ilena Coyle, Head of North America Insurance and Intermediary Distribution. Maute joins from DWS Group, where he spent over 15 years, most recently as Head of U.S. Wealth and chief executive officer of DWS Distributors. He will focus on expanding advisor and investor access to Barings' global investment platform across credit, real assets, capital solutions and emerging markets. Fidelis Partnership prices $2.04B refinancing, cuts debt cost to SOFR + 2.75%

The Fidelis Partnership (TFP) has priced a $2.04 billion refinancing, replacing its unitranche facility with a new senior secured Term Loan B facility. The transaction reduces TFP's cost of debt to SOFR + 2.75% from SOFR + 5%. The refinancing comes with TFP's inaugural public credit ratings: Ba3 (Stable) from Moody's, BB- (Positive) from Fitch, and B+ (Positive) from S&P. TFP's written premium reached $5.4 billion in 2025 through organic growth. The company now underwrites across more than 150 lines of business in 140 countries. Founder Richard Brindle said the refinancing marks an important milestone. The Term Loan B is expected to close in August 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

EACON raises up to $295M in Hong Kong IPO as world's first listed autonomous mining solutions provider

EACON Group, positioning itself as the world's first publicly listed autonomous mining solutions provider, has launched its Hong Kong IPO, offering 26.13 million H-shares to raise approximately HK$2.12 billion to HK$2.30 billion. Eleven institutional investors, including Zijin Mining, XCMG, Fidelity International and JP Morgan Asset Management, have committed capital at the regulatory cap of roughly 50% of the offering. EACON operates the world's largest fleet of autonomous mining vehicles, with 2,580 active trucks as of December 2025, commanding a 55.5% share of China's autonomous mining solutions market. The company has raised RMB2.06 billion across 11 funding rounds, with backing from CATL, NIO Capital and Eight Roads. According to Frost & Sullivan, the global autonomous mining solutions market is projected to grow from $1 billion in 2025 to $7.3 billion by 2030.
