Requirements
  • Uses hand tools and follows blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Can perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Can examine building layouts, anticipate installation and repair difficulties, gather materials, and coordinate on-site work as necessary.
  • Can inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness and maintain vehicle service, scheduling, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Can inspect equipment for wear and notify the customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Can determine repair parts and order them in a timely manner.
  • Can document jobs, including daily time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractors, and other costs; maintain files; return unused resources; and submit required paperwork and reports on time.
  • Can read and interpret product specifications.
  • Can provide technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to meet regular travel requirements, including some overnight travel, as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
  • Keep current on products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
