Functional Analyst
About the job
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in the banking sector and/or on Business Process Management systems.
- Proven experience analyzing and documenting functional requirements, including business processes, user stories, and use cases.
- Hands-on experience with business process modeling techniques and tools, such as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN).
- Experience with data analysis techniques and tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information to business and technical audiences.
- Team-leading skills and the ability to coordinate work across stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- A university degree or equivalent.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Elicit, analyze, and document functional requirements in collaboration with clients and business stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, use cases, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
- Model and analyze business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Bridge business and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work with development teams during implementation to clarify requirements and resolve functional issues.
- Support quality assurance teams in defining test scenarios and ensuring requirements traceability, and participate in user acceptance testing.
- Use data analysis to support requirements definition, validate solutions, and inform decision-making.
- Guide and coordinate the work of other analysts within the project team.
- Experience with lending automation systems, such as loan origination or credit workflows.
- Experience with Business Process Management platforms such as Camunda, Pega, Appian, or similar.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
- Knowledge of SQL for data analysis.
