Requirements
  • A minimum of 4 years of operational experience in credit risk assessment for US corporate or SME customers from a bank or fintech.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific financial analysis.
  • Experience with tools used for loan processing, credit decisioning, business intelligence, open banking, or accounting.
  • Project management skills and demonstrated ability to design and steer complex projects end to end.
  • Ability to quickly understand new problems and systems and work out solutions.
  • Fluent English with very good writing skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assess customers through due diligence, including their business models, operations, public profiles, and financial profiles.
  • Analyze customers’ business and financial information, including credit agency reports, financial statements, and bank account statements; document key risks and mitigants and reach conclusions.
  • Decide on customer limit requests within delegated authority and help build and maintain a performing loan book.
  • Systematize business problems and design solutions for complex operational workflows and systems.
  • Help build scalable and compliant straight-through processes, including the use of artificial intelligence capabilities.
  • Facilitate fact-based information flow among colleagues and support open, respectful dialogue.
  • Continuously improve risk standards, documentation, and the technology stack.

  • CFA or similar qualifications.
  • Other European languages.
