Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on HR experience, including payroll administration, especially in a multi-location environment.
  • Experience processing payroll and working with payroll systems such as ADP is required.
  • Deep knowledge of HRIS (ADP Workforce Now) and employee relations.
Responsibilities
  • HR Systems & Processes: Manage HRIS systems (ADP), ensuring accurate updates, HR transactions (new hires, terminations, pay changes), and generate reports to drive decision-making
  • Team Member Relations: Serve as the go-to for employee inquiries, guiding on policies and handling investigations with care and precision.
  • Performance & Leadership Development: Support performance management, leadership programs, and ongoing performance improvement plans.
  • Onboarding: Ensure smooth, timely onboarding to welcome new team members.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Coordinate benefits administration and collaborate with finance to ensure accurate payroll.
  • Multi-Location Support: Travel to hospitals monthly to provide in-person support, build relationships, and ensure consistent HR service delivery.
  • Compliance & Improvement: Ensure policies are up to date with employment laws and continuously improve processes to meet the needs of a growing company.
Desired Qualifications
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Veterinary, healthcare, or multi-location industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
