We are searching for a Director, Operations for Corona, CA to join our team.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee Operations and Manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Safety, Health and Environment, Quality, Materials Management, Maintenance, Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Finance and Procurement.
- Accountable for Corona Warehouse KPIs targeting operations strategy and Supply Chain improvements, such as: Inventory accuracy/levels, supplier/invoice management, system ERP accuracy using SAP environment, data manipulation, and Tableau and Excel reporting for advanced metrics, operations order fulfillment/material distribution, material storage, to ensure achievement of production output, quality and cost targets, as well as capacity planning and Operations WIP inventory accuracy while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems, problem solving via standard lean manufacturing tools such as DMAIC, 8Ds and Paretos, and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key initiatives.
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with all department heads in manufacturing environment, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for day-to-day performance of operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Devise operational strategies to ensure growth of programs, identifying and implementing process improvements to maximize output and minimize costs.
- Uphold organization policies and standards, ensuring regulations are followed.
- Collaborate with HR to develop and implement staffing strategies to ensure adequate and efficient staffing levels, and lead team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Ensure on-time delivery of finished goods in accordance with established product manufacturing and quality documentation.
- Monitor, train and adjust resources to meet throughput targets for both high and low volume manufacturing.
- Participate and support New Product Development using Design For Manufacturing (DFM) concepts on product lines, from prototyping, OEE, equipment selection, 8D, and CAD to MPR, Pilot Run and Mass Production.
- Responsible for continuous improvement using statistical process control data, Six Sigma and LEAN techniques.
- Collaborate with integrated product design teams to ensure products meet manufacturability and testability requirements.
- Develop and maintain departmental operating and capital budgets.
- Develop and direct manufacturing engineering function aimed at improving manufacturability and throughput of products and further reducing product costs.
- Manage and lead order fulfillment team to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate operational objectives and strategies to stakeholders.
- Serve as key management sponsor of company’s safety program.
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement efforts and develop measurement tools to gauge success.
- Plan and maintain department budgets, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness for operations and warehouse.
- Review growth objectives and facility utilization, implementing strategies to support appropriate usage.
- Recommend control procedures to prevent shortages, waste, and order fulfillment delays.
- Maintain integrity of system information and train employees on its usage.
- Oversee campus growth for space management, WIP/Buffers for operations and general operations strategy of Corona Campus growth.

Qualifications:
- Requires Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field and 5 years of experience as an engineering manager or operations manager or related occupation in operations management in manufacturing environment or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field and 3 years of experience as an engineering manager or operations manager or related occupation in operations management in manufacturing environment.
- Must possess 3 years of experience with:
- Supply chain or operations strategy
- High and low volume manufacturing (proto-typing, OEE, equipment selection, DFM, 8D, CAD)
- Data systems (SAP or similar) and data manipulation and reporting packages (Tableau, Excel)
- Working with cross-functional teams in manufacturing environment

Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $152,901 - $160,000 per year.
