About the job

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems end to end.
  • Hands-on production experience with large language models, including agentic workflows, tool use, retrieval, structured outputs, and evaluation.
  • Strong backend and integration skills, including application programming interface design, data pipelines, and work with systems whose documentation may be inaccurate.
  • Experience shipping against messy real-world data, including cleaning, normalization, entity resolution, and establishing defensible ground truth.
  • Comfort working directly with customers to scope ambiguous problems, run training sessions, and answer questions from senior procurement and information technology stakeholders.
  • Judgment about what should remain bespoke and what should become a reusable product.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage environment with shifting priorities and incomplete specifications.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites, primarily manufacturing and industrial companies, roughly once or twice a month depending on the deployment.
Responsibilities
  • Embed with customer procurement and information technology teams to map intake, approvals, category taxonomies, supplier master data, and savings opportunities.
  • Define customer success metrics such as realized savings, categorization accuracy, cycle time, and coverage, then instrument them.
  • Build integrations with SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, NetSuite, data warehouses, single sign-on and identity systems, and SFTP transfers.
  • Build pipelines from raw spend extracts, including supplier entity resolution, part identifier normalization, category mapping, and defensible ground truth.
  • Model customer spend in ClickHouse and maintain query performance as datasets scale.
  • Customize agentic workflows for each deployment, including retrieval sources, tools, prompts, and guardrails, and harden them for reliability and observability.
  • Build per-customer evaluations against customer data to prove accuracy, catch regressions, and track progress.
  • Drive adoption through training, runbooks, and durable handoff to an account champion.
  • Lead product demonstrations on sales calls, scope pilots against prospect data, and handle security reviews, data-handling questions, and SOC 2 questionnaires.
  • Feed recurring integrations, failure modes, and workflows back into the core platform so they become product capabilities.
  • Ship production code and own the outcomes of deployed systems, including unblocking data access and customer training.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience integrating enterprise procurement or enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Background in procurement, supply chain, sourcing, or manufacturing software.
  • Deep production experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience designing agent harnesses that make models reliable in production.
  • Experience with ClickHouse or columnar analytics stores such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
  • Experience meeting SOC 2, GDPR, or similar startup compliance requirements.
  • Prior forward-deployed, deployment strategist, solutions engineering, or technical consulting experience at an enterprise artificial intelligence company such as Palantir or Scale.
  • Experience at an early-stage startup from seed through Series B.
