Requirements
- Good written and spoken technical English.
- At least 5–7 years of experience as a Java and J2EE developer.
- At least 5–7 years of experience programming Sybase Transact-SQL stored procedures, or alternatively Microsoft SQL Server Transact-SQL stored procedures.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to write functional and technical specification documents.
- Ability to integrate within the existing team and adapt to the organization.
- Ability to implement middleware solutions using JAX-WS, JAX-RS, Mule, and MQ, and propose designs that follow best practices and generally accepted design patterns.
Responsibilities
- Develop Java and J2EE applications.
- Implement middleware solutions and design implementations according to best practices and generally accepted design patterns.
- Program Transact-SQL stored procedures for Sybase or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Write functional and technical specification documents.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of hedge funds and private equity product types.
- Knowledge of Maven.
- Experience with behavior-driven development methodologies.
- Experience with Selenium.
- Experience with JIRA.
- Experience with ExtJS.
- Experience with Mule.
