Requirements
  • Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing and inspection, preferably involving airframe or fuselage structures.
  • Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and standards such as AS9100.
  • Ability to identify non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Certification in inspection or quality, such as CMM or NDT, is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process and final source inspections at supplier facilities to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements.
  • Interpret aerospace blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, and technical documentation accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to AS9100, Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and customer-specific quality standards.
  • Document inspection results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Identify non-conformances and collaborate with suppliers to drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Lead and support Non-Conformance Report resolution, drive root cause analysis, and implement actions to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and supplier quality development.

  • Hands-on experience working with aircraft interior structures.
  • Hands-on experience working with aircraft structures, fuselage sections, or assemblies.
  • Previous experience supporting original equipment manufacturer aerospace programs.
  • Background in supplier quality or source inspection environments.
  • Based in Belfast.
  • Working as an Outside IR35 contractor.
