About the job

Requirements
  • Agency, accelerator, or aggregator experience managing external client brands; in-house ownership of an employer's own brands does not meet this requirement.
  • Experience managing three or more external client brands simultaneously.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central within the last six months.
  • Ability to build and work with a forecast and profit-and-loss statement.
  • Ability to present plans to clients, handle pushback, and take accountability for results.
  • Ability to work onsite in San Diego five days a week.
Responsibilities
  • Own the forecast for each brand in the assigned book and communicate when forecasts change.
  • Develop each brand's growth plan, including spending, listings, promotions, and the rationale behind them.
  • Set advertising direction with strategists who execute campaigns.
  • Own the client relationship and serve as the primary contact for client brands.
  • Maintain catalog health, promotional calendars, and related operational details.
  • Learn the company's account methodology by shadowing live accounts and working through real scenarios during onboarding.
  • Take on directly owned brands within the first month or two and ramp toward a full book of eight to twelve brands.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Vendor Central in addition to Seller Central.
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods, health, wellness, or beauty categories.
  • Advertising knowledge sufficient to challenge a strategist's plan.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
