- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- Five years of experience in Human Resources leading employee benefits and compensation programs is required.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and coaching skills are required.
- Effective oral and written communication skills are required.

- Knowledge of compensation management and benefits administration is required.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of employee benefits and compensation programs.
- Ensure benefit inquiries and complaints are handled promptly and resolved equitably and courteously.
- Evaluate competitive trends in benefit coverage under the direction of the Director of HR, and develop and recommend benefit programs, options, policies, and procedures to meet the changing needs of the health system and employees.
- Facilitate implementation of newly approved benefit plans and changes, including preparing and executing communication plans.
- Conduct employee meetings and benefit seminars, arrange enrollment in optional plans, and advise and counsel management and employees on existing benefits.
- Assist with benefit documentation, including original and amended plan texts, benefit agreements, and insurance policies.
- Coordinate participation in area and industry benefit and compensation surveys, analyze the results, and develop specific recommendations for management review.
- Review and develop competitive compensation practices and policies to support recruitment and retention.
- Monitor and analyze special pay practices to ensure cost-effective objectives are met.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal wage and hour practices, including compliance with contracts related to Human Resources.
- Ensure performance management programs support efficient evaluations and meet regulatory compliance.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
