Requirements
  • Currently pursuing an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of digital logic design, computer architecture, or electronic systems.
  • Academic or project experience with a hardware description language, such as Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
  • Familiarity with simulation, programming, or scripting tools gained through coursework, laboratory activities, or personal projects.
  • Curiosity, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an international, multifunctional environment.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and verification of selected digital logic blocks under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Assist in translating system or firmware requirements into clear design and verification tasks.
  • Contribute to RTL coding, simulation, test development, debugging, and documentation activities.
  • Analyze simulation or validation results, identify issues, and discuss findings with the project team.
  • Collaborate with architecture, firmware, analog, physical design, and test teams to understand interfaces and integration requirements.
  • Learn and apply engineering tools, scripting, and responsible AI-assisted approaches to improve productivity while validating outputs and protecting intellectual property.
  • Present progress and technical learnings to the team and actively seek feedback to support professional development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Coursework or project experience in digital design, verification, semiconductor devices, or memory technologies.
  • Familiarity with Python or another scripting language.
  • Exposure to verification methodologies, FPGA development, physical design concepts, or laboratory validation.
  • Interest in NAND Flash, non-volatile memories, or semiconductor product development.

The company also provided strong guidance for its first quarter, projecting revenue between $60 billion and $63 billion, well above the $56.77 billion analysts anticipated. Micron's performance has been driven by surging demand for memory chips used in AI applications. Data centres require substantial amounts of DRAM and flash storage for AI processors, both of which Micron produces. The company's shares have risen approximately 275% year to date and 550% over the past 12 months.

Boeing wins $20B+ Navy fighter contract, Moderna drops in premarket

Micron could surge 271% by 2031 as AI drives insatiable demand for high-performance memory

Micron Technology is investing heavily in artificial intelligence memory production as demand for high-bandwidth memory surges. In its fiscal 2026 third quarter ended May 28, the company reported $41.5 billion in revenue, up from $9.3 billion a year earlier. The chip maker announced plans to invest more than $250 billion in US manufacturing through 2035, including new facilities in New York and Idaho. JPMorgan raises Micron price target to $1,540 ahead of Q4 earnings amid 96% beat expectations

JPMorgan has reiterated its Overweight rating on Micron Technology with a $1,540 price target ahead of the company's fiscal Q4 earnings report on 30 September. The firm says pricing momentum held through the quarter despite earlier warnings of moderation, and expects results to exceed consensus estimates.
