About the Job

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in electrical technology or commercial training in wholesale and foreign trade, or qualification as an electrical technician or master electrician.
  • Knowledge of the industry and practical commercial skills.
  • Customer orientation, assertiveness, and decision-making ability.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve and advise customers from commerce, trades, and industry by phone and at the counter.
  • Market and implement Sonepar-specific sales concepts.
  • Promote special-offer sales and conduct order fairs.
  • Enter orders, prepare quotations, and follow up on them.
  • Work closely with field sales, specialist field sales, e-business, and key accounts.
  • Acquire new customers and maintain data in the customer relationship management system.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP is an advantage but is not required.
