Requirements
  • At least 8 years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor; public works or educational facility projects are preferred.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of cost engineering, scheduling best practices, and schedule forensics.
  • Leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster collaboration across diverse project teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or a bachelor’s degree in another discipline plus 2 additional years of qualifying construction scheduling experience.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor Project Schedulers, ensuring schedules are accurate, realistic, and aligned with program objectives.
  • Partner with Owners’ Authorized Representatives, Senior Project Managers, contractors, and site staff to review critical path method schedules, project scopes, and budgets.
  • Forecast project staffing needs and make recommendations to executive leadership to optimize team resources.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules for multiple project types, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints.
  • Review contractor baseline and updated schedules for scope accuracy, proper sequencing, and contract compliance, and provide detailed written feedback.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on schedule submittals, reviewing critical paths, cost and resource loading, logic relationships, constraints, and milestones.
  • Conduct schedule Time Impact Analyses for change orders and negotiate delay settlements with stakeholders.
  • Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses to assess schedule performance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between project scheduling teams, senior management, and the Program and Project Controls department.
  • Lead schedule-related discussions in weekly progress meetings and other stakeholder sessions.
  • Conduct site visits to validate contractor progress and prepare status reports for upper management.
  • Maintain program-level coding standards and data integrity.
  • Perform regular quality assurance and quality control reviews of program schedules and master schedules.
  • Prepare schedule performance reports and status updates on a bi-monthly basis.
