Ozark Center is seeking an Outpatient Clinician / Therapist to join our Clinical Programs team in Joplin, Missouri. 

In this role, you’ll provide individualized outpatient behavioral health services to people across the lifespan. You’ll build therapeutic relationships, identify strengths and needs, develop treatment plans, and help individuals and families develop the skills they need to navigate behavioral health challenges and move toward recovery.

What You’ll Do 

As an Outpatient Clinician / Therapist, you will: 

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop initial treatment plans in collaboration with individuals served and other behavioral health professionals. 
• Provide person-centered psychotherapy to individuals and families across the lifespan. 
• Deliver recovery-focused, trauma-sensitive care that promotes coping skills, resilience, independence, and improved quality of life. 
• Evaluate clinical needs and collaborate with clients and care team members to identify appropriate treatment options. 
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes, reports, and other required professional documentation. 
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate community resources, including behavioral health and substance use services. 
• Collaborate with internal and external providers to promote connected, comprehensive care. 
• Provide culturally responsive services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. 
• Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, staff development, and professional learning opportunities. 
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable organizational requirements. 
• Manage your schedule and workload effectively while meeting direct-service expectations and program requirements. 
• Adapt to changing priorities and a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and quality of care. 
• Provide a minimum of?one appointment hour per week after 5:00 p.m. 
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance. 
• Complete additional hours when needed to fulfill required responsibilities. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

• Advanced clinical licensure in Missouri in one of the following areas: 
• LCSW?— Licensed Clinical Social Worker 
• LCPC?— Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor 
• LP?— Licensed Psychologist 
• LCMFT?— Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist 
• Active licensure must be verified by the first day of employment and maintained in good standing with the Missouri Division of Professional Registration. 
• Demonstrated training and knowledge in: 
• Diagnosis and assessment 
• Psychopathology 
• Diagnostic criteria 
• Psychotherapy 
• Theory-based therapeutic interventions 
• Ability to provide culturally responsive services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Computer proficiency, including the ability to use word-processing programs and learn electronic medical record systems. 
• Ability to prepare accurate and comprehensive reports for the Department of Social Services in accordance with required guidelines and timelines. 
• Successful completion of all required background checks. 
• Satisfactory employment history and at least two professional references.
