Requirements
  • Hold advanced clinical licensure in Missouri as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Maintain active licensure in good standing with the Missouri Division of Professional Registration, verified by the first day of employment.
  • Have training and knowledge in diagnosis and assessment, psychopathology, diagnostic criteria, psychotherapy, and theory-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide culturally responsive services to individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate computer proficiency, including use of word-processing programs and ability to learn electronic medical record systems.
  • Prepare accurate and comprehensive reports for the Department of Social Services in accordance with required guidelines and timelines.
  • Successfully complete all required background checks.
  • Have a satisfactory employment history and provide at least two professional references.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and develop initial treatment plans in collaboration with individuals served and other behavioral health professionals.
  • Provide person-centered psychotherapy to individuals and families across the lifespan.
  • Deliver recovery-focused, trauma-sensitive care that promotes coping skills, resilience, independence, and improved quality of life.
  • Evaluate clinical needs and collaborate with clients and care team members to identify appropriate treatment options.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough clinical documentation, including progress notes, reports, and other required professional documentation.
  • Coordinate referrals to appropriate community resources, including behavioral health and substance use services.
  • Collaborate with internal and external providers to promote connected, comprehensive care.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, case consultation, staff development, and professional learning opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable organizational requirements.
  • Manage the schedule and workload effectively while meeting direct-service expectations and program requirements.
  • Provide at least one appointment hour per week after 5:00 p.m.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Complete additional hours when needed to fulfill required responsibilities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the position, including communicating, reading, problem-solving, sitting, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 pounds.
