About the job
- At least 2,800 hours of nursing experience, including experience in maternity, mental health, or acute care.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- Recent experience in a Canadian long-term care facility within the last two years, or relevant experience.
- Ability to travel to local sites within the region.
- Experience using Office 365 and Student Information Systems.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
- Commitment to fostering a positive educational experience.
- Deliver instruction in clinical settings.
- Execute lesson plans using the preset curriculum and comply with Private Training Institutions Regulatory Unit requirements.
- Provide hands-on training and supervision in clinical environments.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
- Stay current with best practices and developments in nursing education.
- Previous instructor experience.
