Campbell's slashed its dividend 36% to $0.25 per share after fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings per share collapsed to $2.17, down from $2.91. The cut followed a 37% drop in operating income to $852 million and a 6% decline in organic snacks sales. J.M. Easy as pie: J.M. Smucker and Golden West partner on fruit Crumb Pies.

Easy as pie: J.M. Smucker and Golden West partner on fruit Crumb Pies. September 25, 2026 By Allison Watkinson TLL Reporter A new line of Smucker's Crumb Pies is giving consumers some easy and delicious dessert options, in a partnership with licensee Golden West Food Group. The J.M. Smucker Co. and Golden West have jointly launched an all-new line of ready-to-bake fruit crumb pies that combine convenience with that unbeatable fresh-out-of-the-oven taste of a newly baked pie. The licensing partnership was brokered by Brand Central, a global top 10 licensing agency representing The J.M. Smucker Co. Partner Golden West, based in Vernon, California, is a top licensee in the food and beverage industry. The company produces a wide variety of high-quality food products, ranging from raw to fully cooked and from fresh to frozen. Known for its history of innovation in the industry, GWFG is a trusted licensee that partners with renowned brands and celebrities such as Jack Daniel's BBQ, Kellogg's, Disney, Gordon Ramsay, Guy Fieri, General Mills, and more. Launching in four classic flavors - Apple, Mixed Berry, Cherry, and Peach - the new Smucker's Crumb Pies combine real fruit fillings, golden crumb toppings, and classic crusts to create a warm, freshly baked dessert made for sharing. There's no thawing required, so pies go straight from the freezer to the oven, making it easy to bring a little more sweetness to family dinners, celebrations, holidays, and everyday moments. The new lineup includes: * Smucker's Apple Crumb Pie: Made with real apple slices and warm spices, topped with a golden, buttery crumb topping and paired with a flaky crust. * Smucker's Mixed Berry Crumb Pie: A flavorful combination of five real berries - blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and cranberries - that balances sweet and slightly tart berry flavor in every bite. * Smucker's Cherry Crumb Pie: Made with real sweetened cherries for bold, bright fruit flavor and a delicious balance of sweet and tart, finished with a buttery crumb topping and classic crust. * Smucker's Peach Crumb Pie: Made with real peaches for full, sweet peach flavor with a bright finish, topped with a golden crumb topping and classic crust. Each 30-ounce Smucker's Crumb Pie is made with real fruit filling, features a golden crumb topping**,** and classic crust, and provides seven generous servings. The pies contain no artificial dyes or high-fructose corn syrup. The partners say Smucker's Crumb Pies will begin rolling out at select retailers in October 2026, with additional retail distribution anticipated as the line expands, including Food Lion and Hannaford. Availability and assortment will vary by retailer and location. Brand Central says consumers can look forward to more sweet choices in the coming months, as a second line called Smucker's Hand Pies is expected to launch early next year, offering another convenient way for consumers to enjoy the familiar fruit flavors from The J.M. Smucker Co.

Folgers enters functional coffee with protein, prebiotic and focus blends.

Folgers enters functional coffee with protein, prebiotic and focus blends. 11-Sep-2026 Last updated on 11-Sep-2026 at 14:27 GMT The Folgers Functional lineup includes four new instant-coffee varieties, including Folgers Protein, Folgers Focus, Folgers Boost and Folgers Prebiotic. (Image: JM Smucker) JM Smucker will launch four instant-coffee varieties in November, as it pursues growth in functional beverages. JM Smucker's iconic Folgers instant-coffee brand is getting a better-for-you makeover in November with a new line of functional varieties that offer protein, focus, energy and prebiotics. The news was revealed Tuesday at the Barclays 19th Annual Global Consumer Conference by JM Smucker President, CEO and Chair of the Board Mark Smucker. The coffee label ranks as the Orville, Ohio-based company's top brand in total volume share, Smucker told investors. "Our higher-growth brands are complemented by category-leading brands that generate strong cash flow, support continued reinvestment and provide additional opportunities for innovation and growth," Smucker said. "Together, they create a differentiated portfolio capable of delivering consistent and durable growth over time. Folgers is a great example of this." Folgers goes functional. The Folgers Functional lineup includes four new instant-coffee varieties, including Folgers Protein, Folgers Focus, Folgers Boost and Folgers Prebiotic. "This platform is designed to make functional coffee more accessible to everyday shoppers through clear, benefit-led offerings ..." Smucker said. He explained that functional coffee is the fastest-growing space in the category, and the launch is part of JM Smucker's "consumer-led strategy in action." "We are taking a trusted, leading brand and leveraging its strong equity to participate in emerging consumer trends," he said. Functional up-close. Smucker revealed few details about the coffee, but a graphic gave more information about the lineup. The Folgers Protein SKU is marketed as a medium roast that is "For Daily Fuel." It contains 10 grams of whey protein and 80 calories per serving. Folgers Focus, a medium-dark roast, "supports mental clarity" and includes L-theanine, Lion's Mane and 15 calories per serving. The Folgers Boost blend is a dark roast with Vitamin B, and the Folgers Prebiotic is a dark roast that contains 3 grams of fiber. Not your grandparents' coffee. JM Smucker is targeting new customers with the lineup, particularly those who are looking for more than a simple caffeine pick-me-up in the morning. "We have evolved our media strategy in recent years to over-index with younger consumers," Smucker explained. Part of that effort included the launch of a new national media campaign that reimagines the brand's iconic jingle, he said. "Our actions are driving results," Smucker said, adding that the brand has become "the number one brand in total buyers among younger generations in the at-home coffee aisle."
