Requirements
  • The candidate must have 8–10 years of closing experience in B2B software as a service, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
  • The candidate must have evidence of six-figure deal wins and participation in or ownership of strategic seven-figure deals, including new logos or major expansions.
  • The candidate must have experience selling to mid-market or enterprise segments and experience with team-lead or player-coach responsibilities such as pipeline reviews, coaching, and deal strategy.
  • The candidate must be comfortable building from zero, creating structure, and iterating quickly.
  • The candidate must be deeply curious and product-oriented, able to provide actionable product feedback and demonstrate products with credibility.
  • The candidate must be a concise writer, compelling storyteller, and effective executive communicator with expertise in discovery and mapping findings to business cases and product needs.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience with modern artificial intelligence tools for research, sequencing, call preparation, and post-call follow-up.
  • The candidate must be willing to conduct daily outbound prospecting, including phone prospecting.
Responsibilities
  • Own full-cycle enterprise and mid-market deals from targeted outbound through close in partnership with the chief executive officer, including multi-threading complex organizations, navigating procurement, and orchestrating resources to win.
  • Run discovery and translate business pain into clear problem-and-solution narratives, then partner with Product to convert those insights into requirements and roadmap input.
  • Create net-new pipeline through thoughtful outbound email, phone, and social selling, using insight-driven plays and self-generated leads.
  • Close large strategic deals, including six-figure annual contract values and seven-figure multi-year opportunities, while building reference-worthy deployments.
  • Use artificial intelligence for account research, prospecting, prioritization, call preparation, and follow-through, and share effective practices with the team.
  • Help standardize the sales motion as the company scales.
  • Use a teach, tailor, and take-control sales approach by reframing customer thinking with commercial insights, tailoring messages to stakeholders, and creating constructive tension that advances deals.
  • Identify and equip true mobilizers to build consensus among stakeholders.
  • Apply rigorous MEDDICC-style qualification by quantifying metrics, accessing the economic buyer, confirming decision criteria and process, identifying pain, building a champion, and managing competition.
  • Diagnose root causes, quantify impact, and convert discovery into a mutual success plan with clear next steps.
  • Earn and maintain access above the power line and secure clear go/no-go commitments.
  • Master the ideal customer profile, core use cases, and talk track, and run qualified discovery during the first one to two months.
  • Build a healthy self-sourced and partnered pipeline and consistently meet quarterly targets.
  • Close multiple six-figure new logos and advance one to two seven-figure strategic opportunities with mutual action plans.
  • Deliver prioritized product feedback that influences the roadmap and contribute repeatable discovery templates and artificial intelligence workflows adopted by the team.
  • Land two to three deployments that become public case studies or references.
